Diane Sye - President

Diane has a long history of teaching, both individual and classes, in schools, the nursing world, clinical auditing and at SeniorNet. She enjoys learning about new technology. In 2017 she completed a National Certificate in Computing Level 2 at EIT to update her knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Diane promotes learning in one-to-one sessions or workshops, because this suits the needs of our members as they have a wide range of devices and individual needs.

Norris Kenwright - Treasurer

Starting as a builder in the UK, Norris was a late University Entrant, studying Education, Maths, Physics, Geology and Geophysics. Arrived here with Rita, Diane and David in 1975. Teacher and Lecturer at Colleges and High Schools in England and NZ. On retirement, took up computing. An early member of SeniorNet and then developed a Computer Group for the U3A. Now specialises in photography, topics, websites, geology and radio control aeroplanes.

Margaret Buckley - News Co-ordinator

After a previous life of dairy farming in the UK, Margaret and her family made the decision to come to New Zealand in the early 1990’s.  Margaret became a motel manager, which is where she gained a lot of experience using computers. After answering an advertisement for likeminded people to start a computer group Margaret became involved with SeniorNet where she has been actively involved ever since.  Margaret is a passionate believer in the aims and purpose of SeniorNet and works diligently towards opening up the digital world to Seniors.
